Swallow Tattoos

Swallows are small birds that are said to be extremely agile in flight.  The swallow tattoo was at one time a popular choice of tatoo for sailors and nautical theme designs.  This was representative of the swallow's ability to bring them home and to signify that land was near, should they be lost.  The swallow tattoo is one that works well in a black outline design.
