Foot Tattoos
If you are considering a permanent foot tattoo there are a couple of points you should be aware of and may want to consider. The skin on our hands and feet are much different from the skin on the rest of our bodies. All ink from tattoos will migrate somewhat over time. If the tattoo if located on your feet or hands the ink tends to migrate much faster than other parts of our body. In addition because we use our hands and feet so much they get soiled and therefore hand and foot tattoos are at greater risk of infection. During the healing stage of your new tattoo it needs to breath and in the case of a foot tattoo you should not wear any socks or shoes that would rub against the tattoo. If you do it can blur the tattoo and as well even after the tattoo is healed, constant rubbing can effect the details of the tattoo. Hand as well as foot tattoos are more painful that other body areas. I would recommend that if you plan to have a tattoo in these areas look for one with a minimum amount of detail. |
