Other associations of the frog are patience, hidden beauty, power, medicine and cleansing.  In Japan frog tattoos symbolize luck.  It is no wonder thereis a passion for frog tattoos with many people having or collecting frog items.

The frog appears widely as a resurrection symbol and the awakening of nature. In recent times frog   images were used to invoke rain in China.  There are wonderful versions of frog tattoos including comical, tribal, and Celtic designs.  Some combinations used with the frog are fairies, suns, moons, stars as well as various flowers including the lily pad.  As well as on leaves, with other insects or climbing frogs.

Frog tattoos have been illustrated on arm bands.  Some other common areas for  this design are ankles and shoulders.  Frogs can be very colorful or simple black. For a fun tattoo try a frog in costumes.
