Airbrush Tattoos

Airbrush tattoos use an airbrush with specially formulated paint.  This paint

sits on top the skin as opposed to henna that is actually a dye.  Airbrush Tattoos

were originated by makeup artists and were frequently used in the movie industry.

A couple of factors determine how long your airbrush tattoo will last.  Their lasting

time is generally between 2 to 7 days. Perspiring, oily skin, and scrubbing the area

will shorten the lasting time of your tattoo.  Keeping it dry and applying baby powder

will help your tattoo last longer.  An adhesive type stencil is recommended for use

with this type of tattoo.

An airbrush tattoo is said to have a very realistic look.  You can have these tattoos

done in natural black, shimmer or glitter.  The glitter tattoos do not last as long and are

used more for an elegant short-term effect.  Another choice is day-glow which when

held under or near a uv blacklight will give a brilliant glow.
